Cleaning list

This is what we should always have in our apartments regarding cleaning. If we are out of anything - please buy new, and keep the receipt for money back:

  • Disinfectants for bathrooms and other germ-prone areas

    • Note: Never place chemicals in a container they did not come in, or use hand-written labels. 

  • Detergent

  • Glass cleaner

  • Microfiber rags

  • Multi-purpose spray

  • Razor blades or chisel

  • Scrub pads

  • Swiffer/mop and broom

  • Toilet brush

  • Paper towels

  • Vacuum

Dish Washer

First thing

Start the dishwasher if there is an dirty dishes. If no dishwasher - clean the dishes
Put on the washing machine or dryer

Cleaning in the Bathroom

Bathroom

  1. Change and replace towels

  2. Check sink and shower drains for hair or clogs

  3. Clean faucets

  4. Clean shower

  5. Make sure hand soap is available

  6. Mop floor

  7. Remove trash

  8. Scrub the toilet

  9. Spray and rinse shower and shower curtain

  10. Sweep or vacuum

  11. A final scan of the room

Cleaning in the Bathroom
Bedroom

Bedroom

  1. Change and replace sheets and linens

  2. Inspect closets

  3. Remove any trash from space

  4. Sweep/vacuum space (including under the bed)

  5. Wipe down windows

  6. A final scan of the room

Kitchen

  1. Check the refrigerator for leftover food or messes

  2. Clean out crumbs or other messes from cabinets

  3. Clean faucets

  4. Clean sink

  5. Empty/run dishwasher as needed

  6. Make sure hand soap is full

  7. Remove trash

  8. Wipe down counters, oven, plate and refrigerator shelves

  9. A final scan of the room

Minimalistic Kitchen
Bright Living Room

Living/Family Room

  1. Dust/wipe any furniture and high-touch surfaces

  2. Inspect closets

  3. Remove any trash from space and empty trash bins

  4. Sweep/vacuum space (including under couches and tables)

  5. Wipe down tables

  6. Wipe down windows

  7. Check that TV and remote control is working

  8. Put pillows correct in sofa

  9. A final scan of the room

Restock if necessary:

  1. Coffee/tea

  2. Dish soaps/hand soaps

  3. Laundry detergent

  4. Napkins/paper towels

  5. Toiletries, toilet paper (shampoo/conditioner/body wash)

  6. Trash bags

  7. Make note of other items in need of restock, so we can buy until next cleaning.

Last thing

  1. Check if anything is broken and report on sms  or email (cleaning@ahotel.no) if it is.

  2. Check if anything is stolen and report on sms  or email (cleaning@ahotel.no) if it is.

  3. Anything else you need to tell - report on sms  or email (cleaning@ahotel.no) if it is.

  4. A final scan of the room

  5. Remember to relax and enjoy your day :-)

Take fabtics out of washing machine and dry it oin the tumble dryer
